Parish Council Elections

On 6 May this year residents in Deanshanger will be able to vote for the councillors who will serve on the Parish Council and the new West Northamptonshire unitary council which will be created on 1 April 2021.

There are 13 Parish Council vacancies and 93 councillors will be elected for West Northamptonshire - three seats for each of the 31 electoral wards.

The new councillors will serve for four years, until the next set of elections in 2025.

It's time to think about who you want to represent your views and work on your behalf for the benefit of our community.

As a councillor representing your community you will help keep it a great place to live and work. You will be supported in your role and will be expected to undertake training. You should be comfortable working electronically. You should have a positive outlook and a can-do attitude and be willing to work as part of a team.
