No power to Street lights

UPDATE- Springfield Park lightsWestern Power have advised that the lights will be looked at by the 16th January 2020.The service agreement with the local authority (South Northants Council) is that they will attend within 25 working days!

Springfield park and the footpath alongside it currently have no street lights.

It has been reported to Western Power and we are waiting for them to come and fix it.... Read More »

Christmas Light Switch On

Thank you to all who attended the Christmas Light switch on and joined us for some songs, mulled wine and mince pies.

We have received 3 bags of food and £122 which will all be donated to Towcester Food Bank.

Utility Vehicle

Utility Vehicle

Deanshanger Parish Council have purchased a utility vehicle to help tidy and maintain our village.

The vehicle has already helped the handyman with his daily work, including emptying bins and clearing overgrown vegetation.

This vehicle will enable the handyman to do more work around this village.

The vehicle is also available for use by local community groups (please contact the clerk)

West Northamptonshire Strategic Plan Consultation

The local planning authorities in West Northamptonshire i.e. Daventry District, Northampton Borough and South Northamptonshire Councils with support from Northamptonshire County Council, have agreed to prepare a new Strategic Plan for the area. This will replace the West Northamptonshire Joint Core Strategy and will cover the period 2019-2041, although the Vision may look further ahead.

HAYES ROAD ZEBRA CROSSING

DPC have been notified by Northamptonshire Highways that they are planning to carry out works on a section of Hayes Road between Honey Hill Drive and Canal Lane.
