2022 Precept
The Precept is the element of your Council Tax that is paid to Deanshanger Parish Council.
Every year, the Parish Council draws up budgets and calculates how much money is required for Deanshanger Parish Council for the next Financial Year. The Parish Council precept request is then submitted to South Northants District Council.

Utility Vehicle
Deanshanger Parish Council have purchased a utility vehicle to help tidy and maintain our village.
The vehicle has already helped the handyman with his daily work, including emptying bins and clearing overgrown vegetation.
This vehicle will enable the handyman to do more work around this village.
The vehicle is also available for use by local community groups (please contact the clerk)

Blocking off Buckingham road to through traffic.
Excess traffic through Deanshanger.
It has come to the attention of Deanshanger Parish Council that some parishioners are concerned about the amount of traffic that is coming off of the A422 and cutting through Deanshanger.
The Parish Council have received 2 requests for further action.

Hayes Road Zebra Crossing
Update from Northamptonshire Highways
The current status of the scheme is that the
crossing has been put on hold due to the severe financial crisis at
Northamptonshire County Council. All non-essential spend has been stopped, and consequently we have had to put all of our schemes on hold until the financial position becomes clearer as we enter the new financial year.
