Appeal Submitted

The planning application for 67 houses off Stratford Road was refused permission by West Northants Council but the Landowner/Developer (Manor Oak Homes, J A Richards, and M J Holes) has now put in an appeal.

This appeal will be decided at a hearing on April 27^th (which interested residents can attend) and comments on the appeal can be submitted to the planning inspectorate by March 22nd.

Responding to the Appeal

The Parish Council will be sending in its comments on the appeal to confirm that it does not agree with the various statements made by the appellant (Manor Oak Homes, Holes, Richards).

UPDATE

This application was unanimously refused by the planning committee at West Northants Council.

This will probably go to appeal and DPC will keep you updated.

Deanshanger Parish Council would encourage you to object to this application on the grounds that

1. It is outside of the village confines

2. West Northants Council have a land Bank Supply for over 5 years

3. There is still undeveloped lane within the village

4. Deanshanger has had extensive development over the last 20 years and further development is not needed.
