Ian has been working for us for over 3 years and prior to that Alex had the role.

Both men have made a difference to the look of the village and continue to do some great work.

Some of the work carried out:

Repainted the British Legion bench and the WI bench on Puxley Road

Painted/stained benches around the village

Painted black and white street signs on Glebe Road, High View, Ridgmont and Puxley Road

Removed branches that have been pulled off of trees in various locations and made safe.

Repaired, removed graffiti and repainted play equipment

Installed Bins and benches in the village

Repairing/replacing and tidying all 9 of the Parish Council notice boards

Putting up new fencing

Re-edging pathways

Keeping the War Memorial tidy

Litter picking - sadly a never-ending job

This is by no means all that have been done but it gives you an idea of how the role has helped improved the look of the village.

There are some before and after pictures in the Gallery of some of the work that has been carried out. Please take a look: click here
