On 23rd December 2020 there was widescale flooding across the county which saw devastating results in Deanshanger with at least 23 homes including a business (Beehive Pub) seriously flooded and some families had to move out of their homes.

The Parish Council reported the flooding to both the Environment Agency (EA) and West Northants Council (WNC).

Deanshanger Parish Council (DPC) continues to work with the responsible bodies to mitigate future flood risks in the area.
