I have lived in the village for over 6 years and get involved in most of the village activities in a supportive role:

• I have been a member of the Pocket Park Working Party for nearly 6 years.
• I have worked with the Emergency Team where I trained as a Flood Warden and been part of the Brook working parties.
• I have worked on the annual volunteer days.
• I have responded to a number of planning issues including speaking at the West Northants Planning meeting at Towcester.
• I have been a volunteer for Deanshanger Good Neighbours since it started and have been involved in the annual Pride event, Easter Trail and play days.

I have previously been a Councillor on the Unitary Luton Borough Council where I was vice chair of Finance & chair of IT.

I have also worked in local government for many years at a senior level mainly in Finance & IT but also in policy and contract management.

I am used to the working as part of a team, leading projects or working on my own.
