Anne has been a Parish Councillor in Deanshanger for six years and has enjoyed supporting a number of projects to improve the lives of residents. She was a founding member of the area's Good Neighbours group that supported vulnerable residents during COVID and now runs a number of additional initiatives such as the Community Fridge and community engagement events. Anne has also been active on the Community Emergency Response and Flood Mitigation teams.

Anne has served on the Finance and General Purpsosea Committee and was Vice Chair for a period. She is now Chair of Highways and Planning Committee.

Anne believes in the power of community and that working together, residents can effect real and positive change.

Anne believes that volunteering as a Parish Councillor allows her to help residents receive the services they deserve - ranging from decent public transport to youth provision and family support services. She also strives to encourage a sense of community and pride in being a Deanshanger village resident.
